Moschino makes a leap into the beauty category and the packaging is too cute. The brand partnered with Sephora, on a seven-piece bear-themed collection that includes a highlight ($28) and eye shadow ($60) palette and lip gloss ($40) that can be double time as a necklace.
Additional items include a set of three brushes ($68), a faux fur eye mask ($25) plus a compact ($28).
I love whimsical and fun fashion and beauty products. Some Betsey Johnson pieces give me life, I'll pick up a piece and see Carrie Bradshaw wearing the purse that has a telephone attached.
I also love Sophia Webster's playfulness and what label designer Jeremy Scott does with Moschino. Scott states that he had the goal of staying true to the Moschino’s playful aesthetic. “I immediately knew I wanted to do a teddy bear compact,” said Scott. “When you’re finished with the shadows, it becomes a display piece. It was important to stay true to the brand by incorporating humor and playfulness.”
Look for these to drop sometime in August 2017.
