I will definitely be twerking on someone’s son to this all summer 19, okay!
"It Won't Stop" was a moment...
124 MILLION views on YouTube and it went platinum.
It seems like nothing after that stuck though. I always thought she should be a lot further in her career than she is now. Sis is talented. The Call Me Crazy But... EP was dope af. And the Shoulda Been There EP was good too.
But the way her debut album release was handled was a hot mess. All those singles they released before that didn't make any noise and then BOOP they just released the album five months after the fifth one. The album ended up debuting at #92 on Billboard cause of this messiness.
After all the confusion, I just wanted more for sis. I really enjoyed Girl Disrupted.
So when I saw she had a new song out, I was like "oh." and kept it moving.
Well APPARENTLY, I made a mistake in ignoring it. I just happened to be looking at somebody's IG story and they were playing it. Not even realizing it was her, I was like "WAIT! Who this?". Come to find out it's her.
Y'all this is IT.
I see you lookin' salty, how it taste?

The production on this is A1. I love the way they used the sample. Then her flow and swag throughout the song make it even better.
It's a really good "middle finger up, tell em boy bye" on the way to the club type song. And I hear a lot of meme worthy/IG caption/catchy moments with the lyrics.
And to put the icing on the cake...
Sis got a remix with Nicki on the way. The PERFECT person to put on a song like this. I can already hear Nicki riding TF outta this lil beat. That's gonna bring even more attention to it and make it pop.
This is gonna put Sevyn back on the map y'all. I feel it in my spirit. Especially with the Nicki remix OTW.
Mark my words. This. Is. A MF. KNOCK.
Who is Nicole Bus? All I know is that she is signed to Roc Nation, is half Dutch and half Curaçaose, and is a former competitor on Holland’s edition of The Voice.
That’s not enough intel! I need to know more about this young woman who is giving me Lauryn Hill vibes. The back -in- the- day Lauryn, who wasn’t late to every concert.
I heard this souful mashup of Charmels’ “As Long as I’ve Got You,” and the Wu-Tang Clan’s “C.R.E.A.M,” in DJ Envy of Power 105’s The People Choice’s mix.
I cannot stop playing it. Bus’ single was produced by Needlz, who previously worked on Jeremih’s “Oui” and Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are.” She will release a new EP, also produced by Needlz, later this year.
Get into this joint. You can thank me now.
is so infectious (you just sung it in your head, didn’t you?). It’s Black Girl Magic in a melody. It’s so happy and sassy and it always brings me back to my elementary school days where my biggest worry was learning cursive. Listening to Shanice’s 1991 hit, “I love Your Smile” as an adult, I never knew the lyrics were so trill.
“My boss is lame you know
And so is the pay
I'm gonna put that new black mini on my charge anyway.”
Shanice- you don’t know my life! I’m over here buying clothes via AfterPay.
Chris Brown has sampled “I Love Your Smile” for his new single, “Undecided.” “Undecided” was uploaded to streaming sites without any marketing or promotion, and is expected to be the lead single off his upcoming album, slated to be titled Indigo.
“Undecided” is a little bop mainly because of the sample. The lyrics are basic. I really wish Chris would go deeper with his lyricism. I want him to make a love song that isn’t so sexually. I always think about “Back To Sleep” which I wanted to love so badly but it was so sexually that I was turned off. Chris doesn’t need to say, “f*ck you back to sleep” for listeners to get the meaning. Innuendos are sexy. Throw a metaphor in that joint. I need intensive vocabulary, “Pretty Wings” me.
I do dig hearing Shanice back on the radio and Shanice expressed her love in a series of posts on Instagram saying: “#undecided @chrisbrownofficial ♥️”

Why did I sleep on this song? “Tribe” is such a sunny Hip Hop song. Produced by J. Cole and Childish Major, this song is for my grown women who know that they are the favor factor.
“You (the woman) are the favor factor. Don’t you chase him. You are the one that can multiple whatever he has.” - Pastor John Gray
So many quotables:
A daily reminder to holla at God
Like "Where did you find her? Good looking, my nigga"
I thought He was through with me, but that wasn't true
The proof? You in the coupe with me
God shuffled the cards, dealt me a hand with impossible odds
Put an obstacle course up
Look, and I conquered them all (conquered them all)
With minimal effort I'm fresher than sock in your drawer
